Eye Care 101
Yearly Eye Exams by Richard T. Melstrom Optometrist in Cadillac, MI
Periodic eye exams are recommended for individuals of all ages. Yearly eye exams are encouraged for children beginning at age 5 (or earlier if recommended by the pediatrician). For the adult population, biannual examinations are appropriate. Certain medical conditions may warrant more frequent office visits.

Glasses or Contacts
Should you choose glasses or contacts?

Well, actually, the choice may be yours. We do both. Depending on the results of an examination, patients will be advised about the advantages of all options. Many patients have both.
